What is your relationship to Barking and Dagenham?
I’ve lived in the borough for around 20 years and have seen first-hand some of the developments in the area in housing and regeneration.
What challenges do you think you might face in this role?
The growth anddevelopment in the area, means increased needs for residents and local businesses. I hope BD Giving can be a positive contributor to meeting someof these community needs.
What are your hopes for the borough?
Further growth and development in the area to meet the untapped potential of its diverse range of residents.
How do you think community can achieve these goals?
Through residents participation in decision-making, which in turn can drive the desired positive social impacts.
