What is your relationship to Barking & Dagenham?
I grew up and lived in the borough for most of my life.
Why did you join the Community Steering Group?
I joined to make a difference and a positive impact in the lives of those in my community. Working alongside like-minded people in the pursuit of effective change continues to be a productive experience. I grew up and have lived in Barking and Dagenham for over 17 years. Although I have witnessed a lot of change, I believe we could do more in terms of creating more opportunities and an environment that is most beneficial to the residents of the borough. I’m here to be a voice for my generation.
