What is your relationship to Barking and Dagenham?
I work nearby in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and lived in South East London for over 10 years so I’m relatively familiar with the area.
What challenges do you think you might face in this role?
So much great work has already been accomplished to date, I think one of the challenges that lies ahead is helping maintain and enhance the current level of growth and transformation across Barking and Dagenham.
What are your hopes for the borough?
I hope for more opportunities to boost community initiatives are established to significantly improve quality of life for residents, year on year.
How do you think community can achieve these goals?
The community can help achieve these goals by connecting with BD Giving to share ideas and be part of a healthy feedback culture that will refine the amazing transformation initiatives.
