Next steps

From January, the grantees will be asked to provide regular updates as to how their work is progressing, with all the information being shared publicly using the fund’s page on the One Borough Voice platform.

In the new year, we will be publishing our reflections about the process of the fund, and following up with a formal report at the end of the funding cycle, which we estimate to happen in the Spring.

We also would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who took the time to apply for the fund. We know that it is disappointing to receive a rejection but want to acknowledge the wonderful work they are doing in the borough that we were unable to support this time – we hope they will consider applying again, especially given that many successful applicants to this fund have failed to secure funding with us previously.

If you would like to know more about our funding opportunities, or how you can be involved in our decision-making processes, please sign up to our newsletter below and join us in making Barking & Dagenham a borough in which everyone has access to power to make positive change.
